Where do I start with this newfangled space? I post about my many excursions and adventures on
my personal blog but wanted to create a space just for my artistic endeavors. Ideally I will post through the process of my art-making, from terribly sketched ideas through to the final product where my prints are listed for sale at
my little shop. Art is a process and I'd like to share my attempts at creating some!
I am lucky enough to have a boyfriend who has insanely good taste in music - anytime we are in the car I know I'll be taken care of and we listen to the sweet sounds of wonderful musicians like The Beatles, Fleet Foxes, Stevie Wonder and our dear friend Bob Dylan. There's this line in Bob Dylan's song Subterranean
Homesick Blues where he says, 'you don't need a weatherman to know which way the wind blows' and it's always stuck with me. I don't know what it is, but I just love the way it sounds and how it flows together with such eloquence. It's such a sound statement that I can't help but love it.
It's available as an
8x10 print here and I hope to be posting the 5x7 version by tomorrow.
